| Short Description: Many common gemstones such as garnet, tanzanite, spinel, beryl, chrysoberyl, tourmaline, topaz are discussed. For these, a simple identification is often enough, but the webinars will also concentrate on treatment detection and, where possible, on origin determination. |
| Program aims: Participants should have basic understanding and experience with standard gemological instruments and their use. They will learn how to test these gems thoroughly and learn how basic instruments can be used in various ways. |
