This seminar will talk about two methods used in diamonds treatments. We will discuss scientific and technical assumptions that made these treatments possible and also the first companies and people that started commercial services. Equipment will be described that the author is using for HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) and APHT (Atmospheric Pressure High Temperature) treatments. Technical problems and limitations of the methods will be discussed. A range of possible processes will be explained with demonstration of general results of the treatments. Predictions for future treatments will also be made.
