Description
Workshop “Identification of Colorless Diamonds” with Branko Deljanin focusing on natural and lab-grown identification. In the practical session samples of Type Ia, IIa, IIb, Ib diamonds (natural, treated, and synthetic origin) were tested with microscopes, mini-UV lamps (‘PL and Jewlery inspectors’), mini polariscopes and advanced instrument – EXA natural diamond detector.
Branko Deljanin (CGL, Vancouver, Canada) B.Sc., GG, FGA, DUG is a research gemologist and instructor with extensive experience in advanced testing of diamonds and gemstones to determine origin of color.
