Lecture “Comparison of portable instruments for screening and ID of lab-grown diamonds” by Branko Deljanin. After studying 11 portable instruments under $10,000 he strongly recommended diamond trade professionals not to use a single instrument to find a final answer to a diamond’s origin. As technology to grow diamonds improves and higher quality, diamonds are created that could resemble natural ones, three instruments should be used.
