  • 13th July 2020 – Day of Arrival
    • Meeting at Moscow airport, leaving to Yekaterinburg.
    • Check in at Green Park Hotel – http://www.greenhotel.ru
    • Getting ready for the mineralogical tour.
    • Optionally-visiting the mineralogical shops and the mineralogical club.
    • *self arrival is possible, we can arrange a transfer to the hotel upon request for extra fee.
  • 14th July 2020 – Day 1
    • Visiting the Malysheva Emeralds mines! Get ready for emeralds, alexandrite and phenakite.
    • Asbest-Bajenovskoe mine (uvarovite, serpentine, diopside, grossular).
    • Private mineralogical museum.
    • Coming back to Green Park hotel for the night – http:/ /www.greenhotel.ru/
    • Drive distance about 300 km
  • 15th July – Day 2
    • Now moving to the Southern Urals through the Karkodino demantoid, topazolite and andradite mine.
    • Complimentary picnic at the mine.
    • Panoramic Ufalei quarry (chrysoprase, quartz, calcite, opal etc)
    • Night at Lesnoye Pomestie  – http://www.vlesu74.ru
    • Drive distance 280 km
  • 16th July – Day 3
    • Untouched beauty and mineral diversity – llmen Nature Reserve Park
    • Miass. Visiting the Miass Mineralogical Museum.
    • Kara bash Golden hill or Magnitka looking for epidote, clinochlore, titanomagnetite.
    • Coming back to Yekaterinburg  – http://www.greenhotel.ru/
  • 17th July – Day 4
    • Nijniy Tagil. Visiting the Mednorudnyanskoe malachite quarry – historical Russian cuprum deposit
    • Night at Yekaterinburg http://www.greenhotel.ru/
    • Drive distance 250 km
  • 18th July – Day 5
    • Visiting the Geological museum in Yekaterinburg
    • ‘Vertier’ demantoid boutique – best choice of Ural demantoids. Find your own “horse tail”!
    • Transfer and flight back to Moscow.
