| Short Description: Characteristics of Colourless and Coloured Natural diamonds and laboratory-grown diamonds are compared and key identification tests proposed. Problems of mounted and small diamonds are presented and solutions found. |
| Program aims: Students will be trained in using Cross polarised Filters, UV light and Portable spectrometers to screen Laboratory-grown diamonds and ID natural diamonds. Guest lecturers will clarify topic from own experience. |
