Short Description: Description and grading of rough diamonds are covered. 4Cs of polished diamonds are discussed: Carat Weight, Cut, Colour and Clarity. Properties of natural diamonds and simulants (CZ, Moissanite) are pointed for fast separation with magnification.
Program aims: Participants will gain solid knowledge in grading of rough and polished diamonds using loupe, microscope, master stones and measuring tools. First step in valuation of diamond - proper identification, is important part of program, and then quality.
