| Short Description: Students do not require prior knowledge of gemmology. Basic program will introduce students to the amazing world of gemmology and the beautiful gems. Properties of natural and synthetic gems will be discussed and key identification features presented. |
| Program aims: Students can learn how to use standard gem instruments in identification of gem varieties, and recognize different qualities. Beside common gems Pearls and Jade are covered and extra testing to separate their treatments explained. |
