Workshop “Gem Country of Origin”(EMERALDS) was offered for first time at MGJ Conferences. In Part I emeralds from Colombia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Russia, and Ethiopia were compared based on inclusions and overlaps pointed out.
Dr Lore Kiefert (Gemological Consultancy, Heidelberg, Germany) has worked at SSEF, AGTA and Gubelin labs as chief gemmologist and co-authored numerous gemmological publications in gemmological and scientific journals.
