Workshop “Gem Country of Origin”- Part II Rubies from Burma (Mogok, Mong Hsu) were compared to and Mozambique, Thailand, Tajikistan and Vietnam, and Sapphire from Kashmir to Burma, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, and magmatic origins.
Dr Lore Kiefert (Gemological Consultancy, Heidelberg, Germany) has worked at SSEF, AGTA and Gubelin labs as chief gemmologist and co-authored numerous gemmological publications in gemmological and scientific journals.
